The construction site of Jiangsu Suyan Group Jingshen Chuzhou Zhangxing Gas Storage Depot is located in Huai'an District, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. The purpose of the construction is to serve the demand of gas storage capacity of the government and city-fired enterprises in Jiangsu Province, and at the same time, to provide gas storage and peak-loading capacity for the Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Sea region, and to provide emergency guarantee for the coastal gas pipeline of Jiangsu Province through the Sino-Russian East Route.

The project is planned to be constructed in phases, of which the first phase of the project has a design capacity of 1,035 million cubic meters, with an effective working gas volume of 631 million cubic meters, and the ground construction of the first phase is to build one new injection station and one new injection and extraction well field, as well as a single-well pipeline outside the supporting station.
